In my "previous life," I was a firefighter and paramedic for 19 years. While I don't consider myself a hero, I have worked alongside many that were EMTs & Paramedics, firefighters, and police officers, a number of them that were prior military or active in the National Guard. After hearing about their time in service and what they went through, as well as seeing how they conducted themselves, it was obvious that they deserved a great deal of our respect.
When I started my new career in mortgage lending, I wanted to assist them as a Thank You for their service. This includes working with our local Veterans and Guard & Reserve members in the community, not only by helping them purchase or refinance a home, but also educating and advocating for them and their families on the VA loan program. My team and I also work with real estate agents and sellers to help get our Veteran's offers accepted and structured properly. Being a part of VMA has allowed me to have a large resource of like-minded lenders who assist each other and our military members all over the country to reach the goal of homeownership.
